Boycott hits the bottom line


THE wave of boycotts on consumer brands that are allegedly pro-Israel has lasted longer than expected, taking a huge financial toll on the affected companies.

Among them are Berjaya Food Bhd (BFood), Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd, McDonald’s Malaysia, as well as KFC, even though the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions for Palestine group has clarified that KFC has never been on the boycott list.
