KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata Group Bhd, Yinson Holdings Bhd, Datasonic Group Bhdm, Exsim Hospitality Bhd, Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd (LCT) and T7 Global Bhd are among the stocks to watch today.

Macquarie Asset Management Pty has submitted a bid to buy Axiata’s telecom infrastructure unit in a transaction that could value it at about US$3.5bil, Bloomberg reported.

For the third quarter ended Oct 31, (3Q24), Yinson recorded a net profit of RM200mil, with earnings per share (EPS) falling to 6.2 sen, down from RM248mil or EPS of 7.3 sen a year earlier, on the back of lower revenue. Quarterly revenue dropped to RM1.85bil from RM2.81bil previously.

Exsim Hospitality's subsidiary, Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd, has received a RM20.98mil work order from Intim Reno Sdn Bhd for renovating 62 office units at Tower D, Exsim Tower, Millerz Square, Kuala Lumpur.

LCT is temporarily closing a naphtha cracking plant, Naphtha Cracker Number 1, from Dec 15, 2024, as it attempts to mitigate losses from a prolonged downturn.

T7 Global has received a letter of award from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of pan-Malaysia offshore maintenance, construction, modification and hook-up commissioning services.
