JPG awards RM39.04mil contract to TLD for iSPOC project development

KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Plantations Group Bhd (JPG) has awarded a RM39.04mil contract to Tg. Langsat Development Sdn Bhd (TLD) through a tender process.

In a statement, JPG said the contract covers earthworks, main infrastructure development, sewage treatment plant construction, and related works for the Integrated Sustainable Palm Oil Complex (iSPOC) project.

TLD is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd, which is under Johor Corporation (JCorp).

The iSPOC, located in the Pasir Logok Estate, Kota Tinggi, will integrate various stages of palm oil production, including specialty oils and fats refining, renewable energy generation, palm oil milling, kernel crushing, and animal feed production, all within a single complex.

Scheduled for completion in the second half of 2026, this integrated approach aims to enhance efficiency, expand JPG’s value chain and product offerings, improve cost-effectiveness, and strengthen its competitiveness in the palm oil industry.
