EPF ceases to be substantial shareholder in YTL Power after share disposal

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of YTL Power International Bhd after disposing of 14.9 million shares.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, YTL Power said the retirement fund disposed of 14.93 million shares on Dec 20, 2024.

The EPF holds a total of 412.12 million shares in YTL Power, or a 5.019% stake, according to YTL Power’s filing on Dec 18.

YTL Power rose 2.39%, or 10 sen to RM4.29 at 3.33 pm. The counter has risen over 66% so far this year.
