Southern Cable wins RM172.57mil cable supply contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Southern Cable Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Southern Cable Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM172.57mil contract for the supply and delivery of cables and conductors in East Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Southern Cable announced that the contract will be for a period of 24 months, starting from Dec 20, 2024 to Dec 19, 2026.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group over the duration of the contract,” it said.
