Kumpulan Kitacon wins RM66mil project


PETALING JAYA: Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd (KKB) has accepted a letter of award from KL-Kepong Country Homes Sdn Bhd for main building works to a residential project at Bandar Seri Coalfields, Selangor, worth RM65.68mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, KKB said the contract consisted of the construction and completion of single and double storey bungalow homes.

“The contract shall commence on Feb 3, 2025 and is to be completed within 20 months from the commencement date.”

KKB added that the contract would not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the group.

“The contract, however, is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of KKB for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2025 onwards until the expiry of the contract.

“The risk factors affecting the contract includes changes in economic, political and regulatory environment.”
