Nestcon wins RM25mil contract for Senai Airport City project


KUALA LUMPUR: Nestcon Bhd's subsidiary Nestcon Infra Sdn Bhd has been awarded an RM25mil contract for earthworks and erosion as well as sedimentation control plan by Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of utility and infrastructure company MMC Corp Bhd.

The contract, part of the third phase of Senai Airport City’s 121.4-ha industrial development expansion, provides investors with industrial plots ready with platform and corresponding infrastructure.

The company said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia that its subsidiary Nestcon Infra, accepted the letter of award dated Jan 6, 2025 on Jan 7 from Senai Airport City, the master developer of the 1,100-ha three-phase industrial development project.

“The overall completion for the contract works is within 18 months from the date of commencement and the completion date shall be 12 July 2026 or within such extended date of the conditions of contract provides,” it said.
