Infomina wins RM22mil JPJ contract


PETALING JAYA: Infomina Bhd has accepted a contract worth RM22.35mil from the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract has a tenure of three years, commencing from Feb 1, 2025 to Jan 31, 2028.

“The contract covers maintenance and support services to the back-end application, infrastructure maintenance for data centres, disaster recovery infrastructure and network systems, as well as communication services for the Automated Awareness Safety System.

“The scope of work also includes front-end 5G infrastructure connecting enforcement cameras nationwide, advanced digital image processing using artificial intelligence to enhance digital enforcement accuracy, and the maintenance of integration services between AwAS and various entities to ensure highly secure digital enforcement processes,” it said.

Infomina said it will explore the latest technologies to further enhance image processing capabilities and ensure seamless integration between existing and new enforcement cameras.

“The company will also provide project management services to collaborate closely with the Government’s project team in implementing the AwAS project,” it said.
