Reservoir Link bags RM20mil Selangor job

PETALING JAYA: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd’s 45%-owned associate Founder Group Ltd has secured a RM20mil contract for the construction of a floating solar farm located in Kuala Langat, Selangor.

Founder Group will serve as a sub-contractor and be responsible in supplying labour, hand tools, materials and necessary machinery and equipment to support the execution of general conditions preliminaries and consultation.

In a statement, the group said the facility, which spans about 24 acres and utilises floating photovoltaic technology, is designed to generate 10MW alternating current/15MW peak of solar power.

It said the cutting-edge technology, which involves solar panels mounted onto floating platforms in bodies of water, will help reduce land usage while maximising energy generation.
