JTGB wins RM25.5mil underground cable job

PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd (JTGB) has received a letter of acceptance (LOA) from Tenaga Nasional Bhd worth RM25.50mil to lay 275 kilovolts of underground cables (double circuit) for a data centre in Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the infrastructure utilities engineering solutions firm said the contract shall be effective from Jan 15, 2025, and shall be completed within 270 days from the commencement date of the contract, which will be determined later.

“The LOA is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company over the duration of the contract.

“The LOA will not have any effect on the share capital and the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the company.”

JTGB said it is required to submit a performance security for the works within 56 days from January 15, 2025.
