Govt to do random checks on palm seedling nurseries

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will conduct spot checks on the palm oil supply chain to ensure seedlings that are being sold at nurseries are of high quality and not mixed or inferior.

This is to ensure the countrywide effort to increase palm oil yields will bear fruit eventually, said Minister of Plantation and Commodities Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.
