AFTER more than 50 years of business in Penang, popiah skin maker, Lim Kim Hoe, 71, still uses his popiah skin-making skills to make a living, and he is finding the demand for popiah skin growing stronger every year.

Lim’s daugther Rebecca, whose family runs the popiah skin business at Chowrasta Market, said most of her customers are ordinary people rather than restaurateurs.
