KL hotels offer buffet spreads that capture essence of Malaysia’s culinary tradition

EXPERIENCE the rich and vibrant flavours of Malaysia with the extensive buffet spread at Melting Pot Cafe, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The restaurant is marking National Day with a festive spread that captures the essence of Malaysia’s diverse culinary traditions, ranging from local favourites to international delights.

The Malay section offers beef rendang, nasi kerabu, sup kambing with roti bakar, mee hoon goreng and ayam goreng berempah, while the Indian and Chinese sections offer aloo gobi, Indian thosai, roti canai, Hainanese chicken rice and a delectable range of dim sum.

The grill station offers mini chicken and beef steaks, Malaysia-style seafood such as ikan bakar, ikan selar kunyit, prawns and green mussels, each grilled to enhance their natural flavours and served with a variety of dipping sauces.

For sweet endings, savour the chef’s new creation of Penang-style Nyonya bubur cha cha, a selection of Nyonya kuih and French sweet treats, ais kacang and ais krim potong.The buffet high-tea is served on Aug 31 from 12.30pm to 4pm.

It is priced at RM91.80nett per adult; RM54nett for children aged six to 11, while children aged five and below can dine for free.

The dining experience on the eve of National Day is expected to culminate in a fireworks display organised by KLCC.
