Chance to savour omakase meal in the heart of Kuala Lumpur

Sushi Mew has four private rooms catering to between six and eight persons.

OMAKASE is a culinary experience any food connoisseur should try once in their lifetime.

Literally translated to “I’ll leave it to you”, an omakase meal is when diners entrust the chef to curate a meal based on his expertise using the finest ingredients available to present an elegant meal.

Having established itself as a purveyor of Japanese cuisine with an international presence in Hong Kong and Singapore, Sushi Mew brings the omakase experience to Malaysia.

The Japanese restaurant at The Westin Kuala Lumpur promises urbanites a unique dining experience.

Sushi Mew’s philosophy is about creating a symphony of tastes that explores the limitless possibilities of different elements, flavours and ingredients that revolutionise the combination between classic and modern Japanese haute cuisine.

Omakase is a private affair in an intimate setting catering to small parties, but Sushi Mew believes that good things in life are meant to be shared and has four separate private rooms catering to between six and eight persons.

The restaurant offers two lunch sets for leisurely afternoon diners, with the “Ka” menu priced at RM188 per person and the “Shu” menu at RM268.

The dinner menu consists of three sets, with “Kun” priced at RM388 per person, “Yu” at RM488 and “Mew” from RM800 onwards (seven-day advance pre-order is required).

The “Mew” set is the chef’s special menu, where all ingredients are exclusively handpicked and specially ordered upon request.

A la carte orders are also available for both lunch and dinner, where guests can make their selection from an assortment of dishes all specially flown in from Japan.

Sushi Mew is open for lunch from noon to 3pm, and there are two seating options for dinner – 6pm and 8.30pm.
