Main focus on local fare at buffet


Guests can expect to find a diverse selection of local and international dishes at Crystal Crown Hotel Petaling Jaya.

CRYSTAL Crown Hotel Petaling Jaya is serving a Ramadan buffet themed “1,001 Malam” (1,001 Nights).

Dinner guests can expect a diverse selection of local and international dishes.

There will also be dedicated action stalls serving Roasted Marinated Spice Whole Lamb, Penang laksa, curry noodles, mee bandung, soto ayam, lontong, fried durian fritters, cucur udang, fried bananas and curry puffs, among others.

Festive favourites such as lemang, ketupat palas, chicken rendang, wajik, dodol, bahulu and rempeyek will also be served, said the hotel in a statement.

For dessert, there are assorted Malay kuih, bubur pulut hitam, bubur cha cha, bread and butter pudding, chocolate pudding, sago gula melaka, French pastries and ais krim potong in various flavours.

An ais kacang station will provide more sweet delights.

A musical group called “Klassiek Malaya” will add a unique touch to the dining experience.

The Ramadan buffet dinner is available until April 20, from 7pm to 10pm.

The dinner is priced at RM148nett per adult, RM80nett per child and RM138nett per senior citizen.
