TO MARK the return of its limited-edition Congo Organic, Nespresso Professional is collaborating with M Resort and Hotel Kuala Lumpur to curate a coffee-themed menu that encapsulates the spirit of revival and sustainability.
Through the Nespresso Reviving Origins programme, lost coffee productions and communities in selected regions are brought to life.
The Democratic Republic of Congo, where years of instability have left many coffee plantations abandoned, is where the programme comes in aid of farmers in the Lake Kivu area.
For a limited time, coffee connoisseurs can savour a luxurious silky-textured cup of coffee packed with fruity aromatic notes and a subtle hint of sweet cereals and nuts.
The coffee-infused themed menu will be served at the hotel’s Hive Bar and Lounge and Fairway Coffee House.
Quackling Delight (RM45nett) explores crispy duck breast marinated with Nespresso Congo Organic for a unique, tender texture contrasting with pickled cucumber, filo crisp, pumpkin puree and basil oil and topped off with coffee-infused sauce.
Te-rib-fic (RM110nett) spotlights the luxurious tenderness of the short rib.
It comes with creamy and tangy gorgonzola polenta, crispy kale, braised vegetables and coffee-infused sauce.
In Wooly Wonder (RM120nett), diners will find perfectly harmonised flavours of coffee macadamia coconut with lamb rack, where the unique toasted cereal and biscuity notes of the Nespresso Congo Organic adds a distinctive flavour.
The Coffee-Infused Tai Tai Afternoon Tea Set (RM138nett for two persons) offers the perfect combination of sweet and savoury — scones with coffee-infused chantilly cream, steamed mantou covered in Congo Organic-based duck confit and other treats.
Quackling Delight, Te-rib-fic and Wooly Wonder are available until June 30 for lunch and dinner, from Mondays to Fridays.
The Coffee-Infused Tai Tai Afternoon Tea Set is available until July 15, from 3pm to 6pm daily.
