Japanese restaurant highlighting flavours of autumn


Kazuma is celebrating autumn with a selection of tantalising Japanese specials throughout this month.

CELEBRATE autumn with tantalising Japanese specials throughout November at Kazuma Japanese restaurant located at Wisma Concorde, Kuala Lumpur.

From the crispy textures of soft kani karaage to the savoury grilled sanma, every dish is a testament to the richness of the season.

Connoisseurs can savour an abundant selection of Japanese ingredients like Pacific saury fish, matsutake mushrooms, ginkgo nuts, chestnuts and persimmons.

Kazuma’s autumn menu lineup will feature dishes including Tori Gyoza, Yaki Udon, Unagi Tempura Roll, Soft Kani Karaage, Grilled Sanma Shioyaki/ Teriyaki and Sanma Sashimi.

Available until Nov 30, they are priced between RM20nett and RM58nett per dish.

Kazuma is open from Mondays to Saturdays, and closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Its lunch hours are 11.30am to 3pm (last order 2.45pm) and dinner hours are 6pm to 10pm (last order 9.45pm).

Meanwhile, the culinary team at Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be showcasing two new items at casual dining spot Xroads Xpress.

The cake of the month is a beautiful and decadent Strawberry Matcha Cake.

It features matcha sponge layers coated with rich chantilly cream, with slices of strawberry added on top of each cream layer.

The entire cake is then covered with matcha chantilly and vanilla cream.

It is priced at RM15nett per slice and RM115nett for a whole cake (1kg).

Those who prefer something savoury can opt for the Split Bread with Turkey Ham and Cheese.

The soft, fluffy buns have turkey ham and cheddar cheese as the main filling, and are topped with onion, leek and spring onion mayo.

Priced at RM12nett per piece, they are available at Xroads Xpress from 10am to 5.30pm.
