FOR a new take on dim sum, Dorsett Grand Subang has fused local ingredients with the classic Cantonese morsels.
The new fusion-style menu offers Otak-Otak Siew Mai, Curry Chicken Bun, Petai Bun, Black Pepper Siew Mai, Otak-Otak Lemongrass Ball, and Steamed Rice Roll Taiwan Style with Egg and Smoked Duck.
The Emperor Chinese Restaurant, which serves Muslim-friendly dim sum, also serves a full range of other favourites such as Steamed Bun with BBQ Chicken, Crispy Cheong Fun with Prawns, Deep-Fried Prawn Roll with Cheese, Deep-Fried Durian Fritter, and Deep-Fried Chinese Pancake.
Although the Chinese pancake is not on the menu, guests can request it. Pan-fried with the right crispiness and filled with a generous amount of sweet lotus paste, this makes the perfect end to an indulgent meal.
The Deep-Fried Durian Fritter will appeal to durian lovers as the durian pulp oozes with every bite.
Dim sum at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant is available daily for lunch, from noon to 2.30pm, except on Mondays.
A la carte dim sum is priced from RM12nett per order.
On Sundays, a dim sum brunch is available from 11.30am to 2pm.
It is priced at RM108nett per adult, RM85nett per senior citizen aged 60 years and above and RM54nett per child aged between six and 12.

Available every Sunday from noon until 3.30pm, the Eat All You Can Sunday Dim Sum is priced at RM128nett per adult, RM64nett per senior citizen aged 60 and above, and RM54nett per child aged between six and 12.
The dim sum dishes are all steamed a la minute based on customers’ orders and will take approximately 15 minutes to be served piping hot to their tables.
