“At the heart of our Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration lies a deep appreciation for tradition and heritage,” said The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Malaysia head of marketing and innovation Fiona Rodrigues.

“This year, we are thrilled to offer innovative flavours that pay homage to Malaysian cultures while inviting our customers to embark on a new flavour journey with us.The Cendol cake with layers of coconut milk, red bean and cendol jelly. The Cendol cake with layers of coconut milk, red bean and cendol jelly.

“We believe that every cup is a gateway to new adventures – whether in flavour or experience.

“We are excited to present a symphony of flavours that not only honours our Malaysian culture but also encourages exploration and curiosity,” she said.

The menu includes beverages infused with a unique blend of spices, such as the Raya Spiced Cold Brew Coffee with aromatic spices.

Also available is the latte versions – Raya Spiced Latte – and the timeless favourite of tea lovers, Chai Latte.

Drawing inspiration from traditions and cuisines that define Malaysia, the menu also weaves together familiar favourites with exciting new creations.

“Mee Siam” Spaghetti is a modern take on the classic noodle dish while Kapitan Pizza wows with the spice-rich kapitan sauce.

For dessert there is The Butterscotch Swirl and Salted Sea-C with its perfect blend of chocolate and caramel with a hint of saltiness.

The brand’s heritage-inspired cakes include The Cendol, featuring layers of coconut milk, red bean and green cendol jelly, and Pineapple Tart with pineapple slices, crushed peanuts and almond flakes.

The season also sees the re-emergence of crowd favourite The Straits, a traditional pandan cake laced with gula melaka and enriched with cream and mascarpone cheese.
