Malaysian comedian and YouTube sensation Nigel Ng, better known for his character Uncle Roger, will be opening his first restaurant in the country soon.

He made the announcement in a video that was posted on July 1, which featured him reflecting on the late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain's visit to Penang.

“Uncle Roger is actually going to open my very first restaurant over there,” Ng said in the video, with "there" being Malaysia. This statement finally disproves earlier claims that he's already had two restaurants in Malaysia – one in SS2 and another in Sunway Giza, both in Selangor.

Although Ng doesn’t have his own restaurant yet, fans who want to try his food can try his Uncle Roger Chili Crab Pasta, which he is selling online (though he does mention that shipping will cost a bomb!).

“It may look like instant noodles, but it is not. It is restaurant quality,” he said in a promotional video.
