Hidden in Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur, there’s this little restaurant called Papasan Canteen. This has got to be one of those little secrets that a lot of people would rather you not know about.

They serve Japanese-inspired fusion food at great prices. Among some of the dishes which they serve are Tricolour Rice, Papasan Roll and Unagi Maki. Best of all, they have Omu Curry Rice which comes with five pieces of chicken at only RM22 – this is a must-order for everyone!

On top of good food and great prices, the service is also very, very fast. Even if there’s a line outside, you often don’t have to wait very long. Papasan Canteen is worth checking out for sure.

Opinions expressed here are the writer’s own and food at his own expense.
