Chinese restaurant in KL unveils revitalised interior, new menu

Desserts in Xin Cuisine’s new menu.

THE Chinese restaurant at Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Xin Cuisine, has unveiled a refreshed dining experience that seamlessly blends retro-modern aesthetics with timeless sophistication.

Its revitalised space welcomes guests to indulge in authentic Cantonese flavours while immersed in a setting that celebrates both traditional and contemporary style.

With rustic timber beams and Chinoiserie-inspired wall coverings, the interiors evoke refined elegance, complemented by streamlined furnishings that add a modern touch.

Classic and contemporary Chinese art pieces enhance the ambiance, while the centrepiece of the restaurant – a magnificent pair of ornate dragons – stands as a powerful symbol of Xin Cuisine’s rich heritage.

The restaurant’s new menu promises an array of Chinese dishes, crafted to captivate the senses with rich flavours and artistic presentation.

Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to showcase the diversity of Chinese cuisine, from familiar comfort foods to more intricate creations.

Menu highlights include “Typhoon shelter-style” crispy whitebait fish, thick soup of dried seafood with fish maw and crab roe, Honey-glazed Iberico pork ribs, fragrant crispy fried free-range chicken and stir-fried beef with Hong Kong kailan.

There’s also braised assorted dried seafood in superior sauce, live and fresh seafood prepared Hong Kong style, with signature marmite sauce or wasabi mayo with fish roe, aside from wok-fried Hokkien-style noodles and wok-fried flat rice noodles with freshwater prawn and scallop.

For desserts, the menu features a symphony of mango, pomelo and sago cream, water chestnut osmanthus jelly, aiyu jelly with longan in calamansi lime syrup, and chilled mango pudding.
