Developed at a cost of RM180mil, Iconic Marjorie Hotel is the second hotel project by the Iconic Group, a developer based in Penang.
Its first, the 195-room Iconic Hotel in Seberang Perai, opened in 2016.
Working closely with Hirsch Bedner Associates, Iconic Group has crafted an architectural experience that pays homage to Penang’s cherished Baba-Nyonya culture.
The hotel celebrates Penang’s culinary heritage with three dining venues.
Tiffin Hall pays tribute to communal dining with dishes inspired by Penang’s diverse gastronomic traditions.
Loom & Leafs Lounge offers a selection of local delicacies, set in a serene retreat, while Senses Bar offers a poolside escape above the city.
Iconic Marjorie Hotel is the first hotel in Penang to achieve the prestigious gold standard within the globally recognised Green Building Index rating system, which promotes sustainability in the built environment.
By incorporating energy-efficient features, sustainable building materials and resources, and design innovation, the hotel is expected to set a new benchmark for eco-conscious hospitality in Penang.
