The illustrious, half-century career of Malaysian art stalwart Syed Thajudeen – who is currently having his Retrospective exhibition at the Penang State Museum and Art Gallery – has now come full circle.

Back in 1965, whilst still a student, he was part of the inaugural group exhibition for the museum and gallery’s grand opening that was officiated by Penang’s first Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Raja Tun Sir Uda Raja Muhammad.
