George R.R. Martin, the author of popular American novel A Game of Thrones, is currently spending more time in the fictional land of Westeros than in the real world.

"I am off by myself in a remote isolated location, writing every day. Things are pretty grim in the Seven Kingdoms... but maybe not as grim as they may become here," said the 71-year-old American writer about the Covid-19 pandemic in a recent blog post.
