In 1992, renowned British artist Damien Hirst began his experiment to make "spin art" in his studio in Brixton, London.

Back then, Hirst even built a spin art stall and appeared at street fair in the British capital. His spin paintings are characterised by the works’ elongated titles, which begin with ‘Beautiful’ and end in "painting", and their bright colours.
