The Kuala Lumpur Men's Chorus (KLMC) will be staging a new musical entitled Life Is... in December.

Written and directed by Vale V. Wong and Tomos Nicholls, the musical tells the emotional yet uplifting story of a man whose world is turned upside down by a sudden diagnosis. To help him process his fears, he creates musical stories that illuminates a journey of acceptance, fun, fear, regret and love.

“We are a small community choir that wants to create something special that resonates through music, naughty choreography, and genuine laughter," outlined a press statement.

KLMC was founded in 2022 with the idea of building friendships and uplifting underrepresented communities through song and dance.

Life Is... is the group's inaugural original musical.

The 95-minute musical will be held at the Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC), Petaling Jaya on Dec 7 and 8 (3pm and 8pm on both days), with tickets priced at RM80 and RM100 and available from cloudjoi.com.
