TikTok releases first original song in Malaysia and Indonesia

TikTok has collaborated with record label Rusa Music to release Perihal Dirimu, a duet by Malaysian singer Haikal Farid and Weswey from Indonesia. The song features a heart-warming message highlighting the importance of self-love as well as loving your significant other's authentic self.

This is the platform's entry into releasing an original song in this country as well as Indonesia.

Haikal who hails from Shah Alam, Selangor said it was an honour to be a part of this project. "It was love at first sound when I heard Aubrey's Perihal Dirimu, and it's been an honour recording this empowering song of positivity with him," he shared in a press release.
