As a young boy, Alvin Teoh was mesmerised by the stories his father would occasionally tell him of his experiences serving in the armed forces, especially of his days in action during Malaysia’s Konfrontasi period in the 1960s.

“At that young age, I was intrigued by the war stories, not fully understanding that war also meant death, suffering and mayhem,” Teoh, the CCO of Naga DDB Tribal agency told StarLifestyle.
