Mark Lanegan, whose dramatic baritone vocals fronted the proto-grunge band Screaming Trees, died Tuesday at his home in Killarney, Ireland. He was 57 years old.
The statement posted on the artiste's official Twitter account did not specify a cause of death, though Lanegan reportedly was suffering from Covid-19 and kidney disease last year.
