After dating for almost four years, actors Adam Lee and Sweet Qismina have officiated their relationship.
They had a wedding ceremony on Monday (Oct 24), which happens to also be Sweet’s 24th birthday. Meanwhile, Adam will turn 28 on Wednesday (Oct 26).
Adam told MStar – The Star’s Malay language portal – that he picked to get married on this date as he wanted it to symbolise him taking over the duty of caring for Sweet for the rest of his life, from her parents.
Adam and Sweet exchanged their vows at Ampang, Kuala Lumpur with Adam presenting the mas kahwin of RM2,410.97 to (once again) coincide with the date Sweet was born.
According to the report, when they were officially announced as husband and wife, Adam shed some tears.
“We have been together for almost four years, so these are tears of happiness that we have become a couple officially,” he explained.
MStar also stated that the two are planning on a honeymoon either to Maldives or Europe after they have completed their filming commitments.
