Suria FM is proving its influence as a powerhouse in the radio industry after emerging as the third most popular radio station in Malaysia, with over 3.5 million weekly listeners.

This marks an increase of 3% or 104,000 weekly listeners – a significant leap compared to the numbers in the previous GFK Radio Hearing Measurement survey.

Its weekday show, Morning-Morning Suria (6am to 10am) saw an increase of 59,000 weekly listeners. Recording over 119,000 exclusive listeners in total, this segment saw the biggest leap in terms of exclusive listeners among Malay-language commercial radio stations in the same time slot.

The Muzik Top Suria segment (1pm to 3pm), hosted by Cik Piah, has the highest time spent listening (TSL) among Malay-language commercial radio stations, with 1 hour and 34 minutes.

Refleksi Di Suria (7pm to 8pm) also achieved an impressive 168,000 weekly listeners.

Meanwhile, other segments such as Suria Petang (weekdays, 3pm to 7pm), Gaya Suria (weekdays, 10am to 1pm), Surat Cinta (weekdays, 8pm to 1am) and Suria Pagi Show (weekends, 6am to 10am) continue to follow an upward trend in the number of exclusive listeners among Malay-language commercial radio stations.

“We at Suria FM will continue working hard to deliver content that’s creative, fresh and entertaining. Our goal is to rise up the ranks and emerge as the champion in the next survey (GFK Radio Hearing Measurement survey),” said DJ Lin, the general manager of Suria FM.
