Singaporean singer JJ Lin held his concert at Stadium Bukit Jalil last Sunday (Dec 18).

During his time in Malaysia, the 41-year-old artiste had the opportunity to meet up with Malaysian badminton icon Datuk Lee Chong Wei.

Lee, 40, shared a photo of him with the singer on his Instagram account on Wednesday (Dec 21). In his post, the badminton legend praised Lin’s visuals and vocals.

“The real man (referring to Lin) is even more attractive in person than he appears on film. @jjlin is widely regarded as one of the most gifted singers ... has been melting hearts with his commanding vocals since 2002.

“He is also a badminton lover, so he loves me. Let’s play a game when we get together again,” Lee captioned.

The former Olympian added that he often listened to Lin’s song, Small Dimple, when thinking of his wife, Wong Mew Choo, a former badminton player for Malaysia.

Referring to the lyrics of the track, Lee wrote: “Small dimples, long lashes are your signature features ... Every night I cannot sleep thinking of your smile.”

Lin also met with K-pop idol Jackson Wang, who was down in Malaysia last Saturday (Dec 17) for his Magic Man concert. He also featured Wang as a guest star at his concert.

Lin's next gig is set to take place on Jan 28 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
