On Monday (Jan 2), Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi took to Instagram to post about her former colleague, ex-TV3 newscaster Zalina Azman, who has been reported missing for more than a year now.

Posting an old photo of Zalina, Ras wrote: “It's the first day of the year and we still haven't found you. So much rumours and fake news going around but I am not giving up.

“So if you do get to read this Zally, please know that I miss you and I hope you will find me. Call me Zal, it's ok, it'll all be ok. We miss you, come home, just come home.”

News of Zalina, 60, going missing was in the news in July last year after a missing person notice was released by the police.

The police had received a report from Zalina’s son, Mikhael Norman, of her disappearance on Nov 29, 2021 after he couldn’t get in touch with her for almost a week.

There were multiple sightings of her after the police reached out to public, but nothing panned out.

Ras even took to searching for her friend personally, driving around Zalina’s neighbourhood hoping to find clues about her whereabouts.

The police believe Zalina is still in the country, as there has been no outbound movement involving her.

In December, it's said that the police notified that Zalina’s missing case is still under investigation.
