Taiwanese singer and indie band Sodagreen frontman Wu Qing Feng recently called out a fan who has been harassing him for many years.
On New Year’s day, Wu posted an Instagram Story where he penned a blunt and straightforward message directed to a “certain female fan from Hong Kong who covers herself in LED lights”.
“From Taipei to Taichung and then to Taipei again. Constantly following me, attempting to follow my car, stalking me to my apartment ... These actions are inappropriate, and it’s the type of behaviour I hate the most,” the 38-year-old wrote.
In addition to stalking, Wu revealed that this so-called fan had been sending him inappropriate messages, comments and pornographic pictures and videos for many years.
The singer said that his colleagues have verified the identity of the stalker.
At the end of his note, Wu warned the fan to stop attending his concerts.
“Please don’t ever attend my concerts again. To be frank, I’ve seen you in the audience for many years. Knowing how terribly you behave in private, it makes me really uncomfortable,” he wrote.
This isn't the first time the artiste publicly called out fans for taking things too far. In November 2020, Wu posted an Instagram Story telling his fans to stop sending him their nudes and having "inappropriate fantasies about him".
"If you keep doing this, you will end up becoming a monster. I'm doing this for the sake of us. If you don't want to get blocked by me, you'd better stop," he said.
