Grammy-winning artiste Adele recently opened up about having sciatica during her New Year's Eve performance in Las Vegas.
While handing out T-shirts at her show, the 34-year-old British singer reportedly told the crowd: "I've just got to get over to the other side of the stage. I have to waddle these days as I have really bad sciatica."
According to the National Health Service website, sciatica is a condition where the sciatic nerve, which travels from the lower back to the feet, becomes compressed or irritated. Symptoms include stabbing pains, tingling, numbness or weakness in one's lower back, leg or feet.
Adele previously spoke to The Face magazine about her chronic back injury in November 2021.
During the interview, the Easy On Me star revealed that she had been suffering from back pains "half of her life".
"I slipped my first disc when I was 15 from sneezing. I was in bed, sneezed and my fifth one flew out. In January, I slipped my sixth one, my L6," she explained.
Adele also mentioned that her struggles increased after delivering her son, Angelo Adkins, via C-section.
"It flares up normally due to stress or from a stupid bit of posture," she concluded.
