Hong Kong actor Moses Chan is pretty well known for his love for coffee. In fact, the 51-year-old opened a coffee shop of his own in 2019.

In a recent episode of his TVB series Guru Coffee Tour, the actor sat with his wife, former Miss Hong Kong Aimee Chan, and recounted their first meeting.

"I used to see Aimee walking around the company with a cup of coffee and knew then she was a coffee lover like me. I got to know her because of coffee," he said.

Aimee, who was contracted to TVB at the time, shared that many of her colleagues often pointed out how similar she was to Moses.

The 41-year-old actress elaborated: "They said we were similar because we always walked around with a cup of coffee. I told them people do that all the time overseas but they kept on insisting."

Aimee added that she was someone who can't remember her lines if she didn’t get her daily dose of caffeine.

"I'm already bad at memorising my script. If I don't get my coffee, my brain will just shut off," she explained.

That's when the staff in the wardrobe department encouraged her to ask Moses for help. Seeing how big of a coffee enthusiast he was, the staff members were certain he had some coffee in his studio.

"At that very second, Moses walked into the room and immediately brewed me a cup when I asked for one," Aimee shared.

"That's where it all started ... because of coffee!" Moses chimed in with a laugh.

The couple confirmed their romance in 2011. They tied the knot two years later in June 2013 and are blessed with three children.
