Many Hong Kong stars have been stopping by Malaysia recently.

Last month alone saw actors Philip Keung, Raymond Wong, Ruco Chan and his wife, former Miss Hong Kong Phoebe Sin, in Penang.

In a more recent update, TVB actor Bosco Wong was spotted shopping at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur over the weekend.

On Sunday (Jan 8), a netizen on Chinese social networking site, Xiaohongshu, shared a photo of themselves with the Forensic Heroes V star.

Wong was dressed casually in a white tee and patterned knee-length shorts.

“I couldn’t recognise him (Wong) at first as he was in a mask and casual attire. It was only until he spoke Cantonese with his assistant that I realised it’s really him,” the netizen said.

Wong was initially scheduled to film The Exorcist Of The Dragon Ma Xiaoling. However, its production was put on hold after going over budget.

The 42-year-old actor told Hong Kong media he took this opportunity to go on vacation.

“I’ve not had a rest for Christmas and New Year for two to three years. Now I can finally celebrate these festivals peacefully,” he said.

Additionally, Malaysian-born actress Joey Chua and her Taiwanese boyfriend Darren Wang were spotted at a night market in Johor.

Two videos of the couple were uploaded by a netizen on Xiaohongshu.

In the first video, the pair can be seen in matching black tees, holding hands as they walked around the crowded place. The second video shows Wang smiling at Chua as she played darts.

The couple were accompanied by a woman whom netizens speculated is Chua’s mother.

Chua and Wang publicly announced their relationship last month (December) after being seen going on dates for over a year.

Another Hong Kong star who will be paying Malaysia a visit this week is Donnie Yen. He will be stopping by this Friday (Jan 13) and Saturday (Jan 14) to promote his new wuxia film, Sakra.
