Hong Kong television star Venus Tang recently opened up about the injuries she sustained after a dog attack in March last year.

During a promotional event for TVB’s new drama, Virtual Lover, the 29-year-old actress revealed that one of her fingers is now permanently injured.

"The doctor did a diagnosis and found that my finger will never recover 100%. My hand is always out of alignment and my finger is swollen," she told hk01.

Hoping to improve the mobility of her finger, Tang shared that she is currently undergoing physical therapy and Chinese acupuncture every week.

The Stranger Anniversary star was previously attacked by a large Rottweiler while taking her dog out for a walk last March. She had to undergo four surgeries due to the severity of the injury.

When asked by the press if the Rottweiler's owner took responsibility for the unfortunate event, Tang responded: "When I was bitten by his dog, he didn’t help nor comfort me. But other dog owners who saw the incident did."

According to Hong Kong media, Tang had filed a lawsuit against the dog owner. She told hk01 that the result of the hearing will be known by this week.
