Hong Kong artiste Andy Lau recently accompanied his Malaysian wife, former model Carol Chu, to Malaysia for Chinese New Year, Sin Chew Daily reported.

At noon, on Thursday (Jan 26), the Heavenly King was spotted with Berjaya Corporation Berhad chairman Tan Sri Vincent Tan, 70, at Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall in Kepong.

The 61-year-old was dressed casually in a dark grey button-up and denim jeans.

In a video released by China Press, Lau can be seen chatting and laughing heartily with the Malaysian tycoon and hall's volunteers.

This isn't the first time the movie star has interacted with Tan. Last February, the actor sent a special birthday message to the tycoon on Facebook.

In the short video, Lau sang the traditional happy birthday song to Tan and said: "Happy birthday to my brother. I can't make it to your 70th birthday party but I'd like to send my best wishes through this video."

Lau tied the knot with Chu in 2008 after being in a relationship for 24 years, and welcomed a daughter, Hanna, in 2012. He has since been following his wife back to Malaysia to celebrate the lunar new year.

The Wandering Earth 2 superstar previously came here with his family in 2020. However, they were only able to return to Hong Kong four months later due to the lockdown.
