Keanu Reeves, 58, has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who had been trespassing onto his property multiple times in attempts to prove they are related.

According to TMZ, Reeves’ lawyer appeared in court on Jan 31 to seek protection for the Matrix star and his partner, Alexandra Grant, from a 38-year-old man named Bryan Dixon, who had been harassing them for months.

In a court document obtained by the outlet, Dixon reportedly trespassed onto Reeves’ US$5.6mil (RM24mil) home in Hollywood Hills six times between Nov 5, 2022 and Jan 20.

On Nov 5, 2022, CCTV footage caught the stalker sneaking into the backyard through a side gate and falling asleep there before getting booted by security.

Dixon allegedly returned to the actor’s home the next morning and left a backpack containing a DNA test kit which, according to Reeves’ lawyer, was a “delusional attempt” at proving he was blood-related to the John Wick star.

Additionally, reports claim that the intruder had been caught peering over walls and smoking in the garden.

It is also said that he had been posting disturbing messages on social media calling himself “Jasper Keith Reeves”, talking about putting Reeves “in charge” of him and saying he wants to assign his “personal rights” to the Hollywood star.

Dixon is set to appear in court on Feb 24.

In 2014, Reeves filed a restraining order against a 50-year-old woman, Kerry Colen Raus, who appeared at his home uninvited and swam in his pool. It is reported that she has been placed in a psychiatric facility.
