Soon after South Korean actor Song Joong-ki got married to his British girlfriend, Katy Louise Saunders, another K-drama actor is about to get hitched to his girlfriend as well.

Popular singer-actor Lee Seung-gi announced he is getting married to Lee Da-in on April 7.

The 36-year-old posted a handwritten letter on Instagram Tuesday (Feb 7) sharing the good news with his 4.4 million followers.

As translated by allkpop.com, Seung-gi wrote: “I have decided to spend the rest of my life with Da-in, whom I love not as a (dating) couple but as a (married) couple.

“I proposed to her and she said yes. We will be holding our wedding on April 7. She is a warm-hearted and loving person, and I want to keep her by my side forever."

He ended the letter by saying that he wants to share the good times and overcome trials "without letting go of each other”.

The two confirmed their romantic relationship in May 2021, having met each other as “senior and junior” in the entertainment industry.

A Korean news outlet reported then that Seung-gi and Da-in have been dating since the end of 2020, stating they share a common passion for acting and playing golf.

He is known for hit K-dramas such as Mouse and The Law Cafe, while the 30-year-old actress has appeared in the series Alice and Doctor Prisoner.

Da-in is also the daughter of actress Kyun Mi-ri and the younger sister of actress Lee Yu-bi.
