The8 of Seventeen hurt his left collarbone, according to his agency, Pledis Entertainment, on Monday.

The idol suffered a fracture in the bone and will need to limit movement to a minimum and wear a stabilizer for the time being, the company said. He will still participate in a series of activities including an autograph session in China and a fan meet event in Seoul.

The 13-member act is hosting its seventh fan meeting at Carat Land in Seoul on March 10-12.

Separately, Seventeen’s first EP in Japan, Dream, earned its million certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan last week. It is the band’s first album to earn the certification. Its ninth EP, Attacca, was given double platinum certification for 500,000 shipments.

Meanwhile, the band’s trio unit, BSS, topped Oricon’s daily single ranking with its first single album, Second Wind. – The Korea Herald/Asia News Network
