South Korean actor Park Seo-joon recently held a meet-and-greet session with fans at Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya on Saturday (Feb 25) as part of the #JomMinumMilo campaign.

Upon his arrival, Park was warmly welcomed by Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin – queen consort of the 9th Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah – and fans from all around Malaysia.

Although the meet-and-greet was limited to the 300 lucky winners of Milo's contest – which required participants to spend RM120 on Milo products in a single receipt – thousands flocked to the venue to catch a glimpse of the Korean heartthrob.

During the event, the 34-year-old revealed that this was his first time visiting Malaysia.

"It's such an honour to be here today. I never thought there would be so many fans coming. I will not forget the time spent with everyone here," he said.

Park was all smiles as the host, local fitness entrepreneur Maggy Wang, introduced him to Milo Dinosaur – a popular drink in Malaysia consisting of iced Milo topped with undissolved Milo powder.

Fans erupted in cheers when the She Was Pretty star picked the 3-in-1 as his favourite Milo variation and demonstrated his way of preparing the drink.

He also had a fan signing session and took photographs with 20 fans chosen via a lucky draw. Among the winners picked was local actress Adriana Adnan, who shed tears of happiness upon receiving the opportunity.

"My initial plan was just to see him up close. I never thought I would get the chance to meet him for a fan signing session," she said, adding that she bought nine Milo packets for the contest in hopes of meeting her idol.

Park was selected as the brand's ambassador last August. He is set to make his Hollywood debut in Marvel Studios' upcoming blockbuster, The Marvels.
