Hong Kong celebrity couple Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong are expected to tie the knot later this year.
In preparation for a blissful wedded life, Ma, 49, approached fellow colleague, Moses Chan for advice, from a financial stand point.
Moses Chan is married to former Miss Hong Kong Aimee Chan and they have two children.
Moses told Ma that he should let Tong, 35, be in charge of the family's finances as he too gives Aimee full control of his family's finances.
"To a certain extent that should be a given, the man should make the money. A family's expenses are indeed very large, so I'll let her take care [of the finances]," said Ma, adding that he will get a monthly allowance from Tong when she's in charge.
"Moses also only gets an allowance [from his wife] every month.
"I think most Hong Kong men are like that because you have to spend a lot to take care of a family. So the men just have to work hard to earn money," Ma added.
