Local singer Jeii Pong and her partner of five years, Winson Sim, finally had their dream wedding on March 26 after getting engaged last June.

The ceremony followed traditional Chinese customs, with Internet stars Jestinna Kuan and Qiu Wen serving as bridesmaids.

A lavish space-themed reception was held at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur later that night, where Pong entertained guests with a live performance of her song, Manyou.

Apart from family members, the reception was graced by many celebrities including Jack Lim, Glenn Yong, Jaspers Lai and Nick Chung.

Speaking to China Press, Pong said the total cost for her wedding amounted to almost RM600,000.

"I feel like I just bought a new condo," joked the 27-year-old who started dating Sim in 2017.

According to Pong, she and her husband put a lot of thought into planning their special day. In fact, the couple spent a month doing wedding photo shoots in Turkey, Italy, Greece and other countries.

When asked where she would like to spend her honeymoon, Pong said there won't be one due to her busy schedule.

Although the singer regarded her overseas wedding photo shoot with Sim as "an early honeymoon", she hinted that her husband may have a surprise in store for her.

At present, the What You Waiting For? hitmaker said that she's focusing on renovating their house.

As to whether or not they will have kids, Pong said that she and her husband are interested in having one but will let fate decide.
