Ahead of his three-day gig in Kuala Lumpur, Cantopop superstar Eason Chan spoke about what he's looking forward to when he visits Malaysia in May.

During a press conference in Singapore where Sin Chew was present, Chan told the publication that he misses the food here and is planning on indulging in his cravings first thing when he arrives.

According to the Sin Chew, the 48-year-old was excited to eat the bak kut teh in Malaysia.

"It's cooked in a clay pot. The taste is very authentic and just delicious," he said, adding that he once ate the dish with former world No.1 shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei back in 2015.

Chan also mentioned about wanting to try the popular Wong Ah Wah barbecued chicken wings. He said that because of the hot weather in Malaysia, he plans to eat there at night after his show ends.

During the conference, the multiple award-winning singer expressed shock after learning that there were unscrupulous scalpers who were reselling the RM998 VIP tickets in Malaysia for RM19,000 – which is over 19 times higher the original price.

"I don't want fans to support scalpers. I know the company is taking action, but it's (hard to overcome the issue) as there are still people (buying from the scalpers)," he said.

Chan will be holding his concert from May 12 to 14 at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil in KL.

His three-day gig is part of his Fear And Dreams Tour – which has been postponed multiple times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
