Cantopop superstar Sammi Cheng may be 50 years old, but age hasn’t stopped her from keeping her body fit and healthy.

Cheng recently dropped some promotional photos she took for her You And Mi World Tour Concert 2023, which will kick off on July 14 at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

The pictures quickly gained the attention of netizens, who praised her for how fit and bright she looked.

Spilling some tips on how she keeps her face looking fresh and youthful for photoshoots, the Ding Dong hitmaker told Hong Kong media that it is important to get enough sleep and have a good skincare routine.

As for how she maintains her figure, Cheng shared that it all comes down to exercising frequently.

“The most important thing is to exercise. No matter how much I eat, I am not afraid (as long as I exercise),” she said, adding that she used to have a strict diet plan.

China Press reported that in the past, the singer-actress used to practise 16:8 intermittent fasting, which involved fasting for 16 hours per day and eating during an eight-hour window.

She used to follow the 20:4 diet plan too, which involved eating during a four-hour window and fasting for the remaining 20 hours of the day.

“For now, I am (taking it easy). I eat as much as I want depending on (the situation). If I have to wear slim-fitting clothes, I will control my meal intakes.

“But on other days (where I wear lose clothes), I would eat three or even four meals a day,” she said.

Cheng is known for being a fitness buff and has posted many photos and videos on Instagram of her fitness routine.
