Hong Kong celebrity couple Liza Wang and Law Kar-ying arrived in Malaysia yesterday (May 11) for their Mothers Day concert at the Arena Of Stars, Genting Highlands tomorrow.
This will be the couple's first time performing together in Malaysia.
In a Facebook post last night, Wang, 75, said she and her husband bumped into Cantopop legend George Lam en route to Malaysia.
Her post was accompanied by a photo of herself together with Law, 76, and Lam, 75.
"Today (May 11), I was on a plane to Genting. During the flight, I bumped into George Lam by chance. Tomorrow will be the rehearsal and Saturday will be our show.
"To all my friends in Genting, are you ready? Since (our show) is for a Mothers Day programme, please remember to watch the concert with your mum!" the 75-year-old TVB star wrote.
Wang's post led to various responses, with many netizens welcoming them to Malaysia.
Meanwhile, other Hong Kong celebrities have arrived in Malaysia for their gigs too.
Yesterday evening, award-winning singer Eason Chan shared on Facebook that he has landed safely in Malaysia for his three-night concert (May 12 to 14) at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.
In his post, Chan asked his fans to recommend some dishes to try – to which many responded durian, bak kut teh, tandoori chicken and naan among others.
Many also advised him to drink lots of water and eat healthy as the weather is hot.
Sin Chew also reported that Anson Lo and Jer Lau of popular boy group Mirror have also arrived for their show at the One Love Asia Festival at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon this Sunday (May 14).
