Popular actress Janna Nick marries actor Dini Schatzmann: 'This is a big step for me'

Congratulations are in order for Malaysian stars Janna Nick and Dini Schatzmann as the couple tied the knot early this morning (June 10).

The ceremony was held at Masjid Aisyah as well as a resort in Langkawi where family and celebrity friends such as Izzue Islam, Nora Danish, Ain Edruce, Puteri Sarah Liyana and Nadia Brian were in attendance.

Dini, born Muhamad Dini Azan Schatzmann, 29, gave a dowry of RM2,703 and a gold necklace to Janna, real name Nurul Jannah Muner, 28.

The RM2,703 dowry was said to be significant to the couple as they met on March 27, 2019.

After the ceremony, Dini said it was the best day of his life.

"Alhamduillah, feeling the happiest, maximum. I am relief the nuptial is over and everything went smoothly. So, it begins, our journey as husband and wife," he told Malaysian media.

Janna said she was pretty nervous before the ceremony.

"This is a big step for me... to change from being single to a married woman, and insya-Allah, a mother," the actress said.

To a question if they would be having children soon, Janna said: "We will leave it to Allah. If it happens, we are open and ready."

For their honeymoon, the couple will be heading to Koh Lipe in Thailand. "We didn't get to plan for a further destination as filming for (our) dramas have begun," Dini said.
